March of a Thousand Marionettes is a dystopian representation of a near future where due to technological advancements in the area of body enhancements social divisions have never been more clear, which has led to massive segregation of the population. The delicate balance is upset, however, when a single, pure, unbroken individual arises to change the fates of millions and take the fight to the oppresive system, where every enhanced man is but a mindless, compliant drone. This album seeks to represent how humanity's inventions, if left unchecked, might lead to irreversible civilisational transformations and in turn, the demise of man as a living, individual being.
